Guys, how do you mount an alternator with an electric water pump, its in a 71 Nova, with a 400 small block chevy. Any suggestions would help, Pictures would be even better.

Thanks Guys for any input.

Here's my junk...hold your laughter please. I reused the adjustment arm and normal size alternator from my small block and hung the alternator off a 1/4" piece of plate. I welded a spacer to the bottom to move the alternator inline with the crank pulley.

I would like to do something like supernova. Just haven't had the time/money.

Thanks guys, I picked up a Moroso bracket, then for the bottom pulley I had to shim out the pulley, so I drilled out two nuts and 2 thin washers so I could line the brackets back up.

Thanks everyone.

The belt has never came off...Not even at 7600 RPM's. I started with a low mount kit and modified it to fit in the stock '70 Camaro engine compartment.

we are making these but i can't get my machinist to make the adpter that converts it from sbc to bbc like i have on my car. they are made for the cs130 alternator which is far more superior to the older style gm alternator in just about every way plus puts out a lot more amps at idle
