SFI Question

#1 Post by Bruce69Camaro » Tue Feb 28, 2012 5:33 am

Correct me if I'm wrong, but on cars running 10.99 or faster, you are required to have a SFI transmission shield and on cars running 9.99 or faster, you are required to have a SFI flexplate and flexplate shield.

I don't get this?

I would think it would be the opposite.
Those who think they know it all have no way of finding out they don't.........

According to what I saw it was 10.99 for the transmission shield unless you go faster the 135mph then you are required to have all three.

I guess that rule just doesn't make sense to me. I would think the flywheel and shield would be before the tranny shield, but then again???
