Thanks for the welcome everyone. I see alot of nice cars on here. I've only had the car out
once. Went to National Trail Raceway a couple of weeks ago to get my license. They were
running 1/8th mile that weekend. Went 5.824 @ 118.00 on first full pass, then 5.814 @
118.32 on my last pass. Not too bad for a small block I guess. I'm got to Philly for a few days
to Dupont paint school so I'll login when I get back. Thanks again.

Hi All...
I'm new to the site. I was invited up to the site by Harry (WIKD 69) Stoner.
I'm currently building a 41 Willys Coupe with a blown BBC. Been playing around with
race cars, street rods, since I was 16. I'm retired now or some days just plain tired .
Sold my last race car, a S/Gas '79 Dodge Challenger, about 2 years ago. Bought the Willys
shortly there after and hopefully I will get it finished to a point that I can make a few
10 second passes down the track by year end. You can view pictures on my website
of both current and past cars.

Hey there Jim, welcome to the forum :) You'll note that the Nova guys are here in force but they're pretty tolerant of us guys with real race cars.

Here's a few shots out on RacingJunkRides - http://www.racingjunkrides.com/view_ride/1818/
What sort of times are you turning with your ride ? Best I've done so far was 10.84 @ 125 but I'm not serious or hard-core about it. Mine is more about chasing hamburgers, cruising around the valley here and just the occasional trip down the track. I didn't build it to go campaigning, running a series or really being competitive. I mostly leave that to the guys who know what they're doing here
