Re: 68 nova....getting closer
I can't take the credit for the air box on the back of the procharger it was done by JayCee at http://www.performance-concepts.net/ he had about 2in from the back of the super charger to the master cyl. It has a the filter you can see at the back and then another one that runs down to behind the drivers head light. We used to race a prochager on a mustang that we could pick up over 3lbs of boost with removing the air filter & tube. We are thinking this should flow better with the 2 filters (and looks good). JayCee does some of the best work I have ever seen and was lucky to have him work on my car.vegaracer wrote:Looks good! Did you fab up the air box on the back of the procharger?
Thanks for the kind words guys and I will keep you updated as it comes together....have some other pics but have not downloaded them off the camara yet.

NIce work car looks great!
Re: 68 nova....getting closer
Sweet ride, and sweet fabrication! Where did you buy the dash cluster from? I know you added the gauges and stuff yourself, but the plastic insert..where did you find that?
Also, are you going to drive the car on the street? Do you anticipate cooling issues with the intercooler in front of the rad like that?
Again, badass man! Since I'm contemplating forced-induction I've got some good idea's from your build.
Badass!

Re: 68 nova....getting closer
We made the dash/gauge incert it is a carbon/carbon sheet with the holes drilled in it (not as easy as it sounds due to the holes not and sides not being parallel or straight on top/bottom). I built the car more for street then strip it has a 4L80E over drive transmission (HEAVY) that will be shifted with the BS3 EFI. As for the cooling system I have attached some pictures. We have a air duct that will pull air up from under the car.sverbus wrote:Sweet ride, and sweet fabrication! Where did you buy the dash cluster from? That is all very outstanding work, looks great. But how longis it gonna take to get the valve cover off the driver side. By the way, I love how it all fits under the flat hood. SLEEPER

Man, that is some seriously clean work. You obviously pay close attention to the details and it shows. Beautiful machine.
