I'd put you between 8.90 and 9.10...

Of course, I'm ignorant so this is just a wild ass guess, but you're packing some awful large horsepower with all the right stuff behind it.

I'm gonna guess your going for 8.5's. In the 155-160 range. That on gas should be around 1000 hp with the right cam. Is it a gas car or methonal?

ok cam specs are lift 800 748 dur 286 298 lc 110 now the cam might change while on the dyno (this is the cam thats in it right now )

it will be on vp c16

i'm hopeing for 1/4

the weather should be very nice lol

and not sure which lane i will post that while i am staging on the starting line

front suspension is stock with qa1 coil overs and has been modified

ok here's some back ground so everyone can be kind of close the car has gone 9.5 with the sbc and it really hooks well i could get it to leave with no burnout and carry the wheels and run the 9.5 with the sbc
ok the rest of the guessing is your's ok to add to the prize if the winner gets it on the nose i will throw in a sweat shirt to :thumb:

With the current configuration, I would have to go with 9.00's at 140ish + mph.

I do think there is a better cam for the compression that the motor has.
What are the flow #s of the heads you are using?

We had an experience with a motor in a top sportsman car I helped with last yr. that had 15.5/1 compression. It was a 598 c.i. motor that had to run a 4.70 index (1/8 mi.).... The motor run fine but needed nitrous to run the #. It was in a 2600 lb 98 camaro. I know that it took a 300 shot with a fogger. That is all the motor would handle. With 15.5/1 comp. there just wasn't enough space to put anymore nitrous in it. The car was running h. 4.80's-l. 4.90's with config.

Hurt the motor at half season and rebuilt the motor with 13.5/1 compression. Now it had more space to put more nitrous in it and wa-la it could handle a 450 shot and now runs L. 4.60's. That made it easy to slow it down to a 4.70.

I did see in your pics with the nitrous solenoids and thought I would pass some info along.
