finally did it!

#1 Post by FARRIGNO » Wed Apr 08, 2009 8:57 pm

wellguys i finally did it, ran my first eight second pass motor only, boy am i pumped.had a problem with the convertor so i couldn't back it up, but here are the incrementals
60 1.34
330 3.73
1/8 5.75
1/8 mph 121.61
1/4 8.98
mph 151
there is a little more left in it as i have not begun to tune it. to me its a sense of accomplishment as i used to run nitrous, and that pass was almost as fast as my best nos pass.motor is a 565 with bmf 350's 15-1 comp, single pro systems carb true ten five tire t-400,ladder bar car.i can't wait to get the conv. fixed to get back to testing and going faster :thumb:

Very impressive! I assume you've set the converter etc up for N/A? What weight was that at?

That is an excellent pass in a Chevelle, that takes a lot of power. What day and hour did you run the time and what were the weather conditions?
