Finally got my 8 second pass!

After destroying the transmission, driveshaft and some other misc. parts we got it all back together and were able to get out last night to go do some testing, we ended up running our best pass ever with the car. Lot's of hard work to get her to where she's at now, not to bad for a little small block and little tires and 3400#'s. Here's the results from the pass.

Thanks guys! I didn't think I was going to get it last night, first pass off the trailer was a 9.07 next was a 9.05, 9.03 I was getting really discouraged, once the sun went down the air cooled off and the track was damn near perfect, and I kept telling myself it's gonna be an 8 it's gonna be an 8........I could almost tell when that thing left the line it was an 8 second pass. I know it sounds funny but I swear you could tell.

Congrats on the 8 second pass.

You may be able to compare the other runs looking closely at the incrementals and find out where you picked up to achieve that pass. Then concentrate on tuning the chassis/engine around that part of the track for some gains.

Might be worth the effort.
