It is nice work. But it's not me. It's a small local shop here in wichita that is just a one man outfit. He uses pitsburg locks to join metal to metal. The guy just hates the looks of pop rivits. I have seen several cars he turns out of his shop and they are all immaculate. It's also the guy who is doing all of the chassis and suspension mods on my vette. but it's pricey :bling: :bling:

And just so you're aware, I had to hit Google to find out what a 'Pittsburgh Lock' was :smt003

Yeh, sorry. I do heating and cooling and that is a real common thing in this field. Sure makes for good looking sheet metal interior panels though! :thumb:

Mr. Hitchcock,

question for you, seeing your in the heating and cooling division. I work in the heating division, what do you think of Burnham boilers or are you more in the HVAC area?

I got to tell you, I was thinking in the right direction on the sheet-metal. I guessed some kind of a system that would allow the panels to slide on another system and get locked in, but Duh...didn't remember the pittsburg seam. I should have seeing one tore out on me on a wheel tub.......

We use all lochinvar boilers. They have a new line of modulating boilers that are really slick.

Wait till you see the new boiler I was on from the start, Thermal Solutions, Solaris.
Full mod, horizontal copper finned heat exchanger, 3:1 turndown, new control board, ranging from 300K to 1.5 mil.
The smallest (300K) is about the size of a dorm fridge. It's my little baby.
The guy that helped me tweek this unit came from Lochinvar and designed the Copperfin II.
You should look into our unit and come in for a tech session.
Got some fun stuff in the lab to play with.

It;s a guy named Kevin Kahl of Hot Rod Underground. I think he's from Phoenix. He relocated himself and business to Wichita some time back. The car 's in the pics, one is his (red interior, 65 coronet) and the other is a 68 nova. He does all the chassis and cage work along with the sheet metal work. He also did a 70 dart for himself that is now a convertible with a dual funny car cage in it.

I do and took my car to Seminole, Oklahoma for my chassis work. Funny how racer's preferences lead them to make inconvenient choices.
