The look of fresh cylinder bores in the morning can often be followed by the smell of napalm in the evening. Just saying...

Well if you that picture, check this one out that "Rapid" Ray sent me....

The short block is complete, now he's teasing me with taking his time putting the heads on...LOL but I will say this, this time I know the motor
will be done right compared to the last build.

Here's a update for you....Ray has the motor assembled, he goes to prime the motor on the stand, fills it with oil and the next thing you know, there's an oil spot on the cardboard. He looks all over the place and finally finds it. It's a weld leak, on the vertical weld on the front sump.
So he takes it off and I bring it into work and my coworker fused the factory weld. I filled the pan with water and after an hour, no more leak.
So now Ray has the fun job of putting it back on the motor.
Other than this set back, the only thing is to bolt the intake back on and index the plugs.
Anyone have a spare 1050 dominator they don't know what to do with?
I can find a way to use it...LOL
That's it for now.

OOOOO me LIKEY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What kind of carb do ya need, there Bruce ? All I have (literally all I have) are 2 x 750 boost-referenced holleys that are targeted to go back on this little blower motor when I rebuild it.

What did you plan for, carb-wise ?
