Just found out the other day I got a booth this year. Somewhere in the main pavillion in the dirt floor section. Look for the devilishly handsome guy wearing the blaze orange "beer delivery guy" hoodie.

Tough crowd, yeah breakfast as usual. We are in for some pretty crappy weather again. But KDOT should have the highway's clear by then. Give us a hollar if you want to meet up.

No swap meet for me this year, have to help move furniture. Just as well, I needed to work this weekend anyway. Don't spend all your money in one spot!

I found anything I did want was way too high. I came across a guy with set of tires I was interested sticking on the daughters Tahoe, to get along for awhile. He wanted 150 for all four, I offered 75. He got a little bent out of shape and said "half of what I'm asking?". I said "ya". then he he went into this story about his mom's car and how he didn't get paid for the tires he put on it..... I said "good luck" and walked off. If he continued that attitude, then he took them back home with him.
The way I looked at it, the tires were less than half left, I am taking a gamble that they drive straight, they would last a year... maybe a little more. Then I am going to spen 75-80 bucks to mount and balance. I am going to put almost $250 bucks out for a years use. They are 15" tires. those grow on trees. not worth it for me or anyone else (unless they own their own shop with mount and balance machines).
