Well this is my ride, at least for now. Raced a long time ago and stopped. I got back into racing and was building myself a car when I stumbled across this one...

I am really into 55's and someday hope to get my 55 Plymouth built to race at the drags with.

Hey everyone, the names Jarrod Nordloh, I'm 31 and live in Olympia Washington (The Capital city not Seattle). I have a 69 Nova and a 70 Chevelle both of which I've have had since High School. The Nova is tubed but it's in rough shape, the Chevelle is much better but no show car. Never done any serious racing but been to the track a few times. Hoping to get a little more serious next race season.
Not married yet but have a steady girlfriend with a 9 year old daughter. That has been a real life adjustment for me. She takes up alot more of my time than I thought but she is a great kid. Hope to get some pics on here soon.

Hi. My name is Jamie and I live in Wyoming, Ontario, CANADA. I'm 20 years old and race a 1973 Vega. Were currently running a 360ci SBC injected on alcohol with no power adders and a TH-400 (we broke two powerglides in as many weekends along with 4 titanium intakes  ). It runs high 9.40's at 139mph.

my finished truck

#398 Post by macdaddy31516 » Thu Aug 23, 2007 8:38 am

i have been meaning to post some pics but just havent done it.this is my truck i have been working on for about a year now. my wife used this truck to deliver mail for about 4 yrs. she had about 210,000 miles when the motor blew.i thought , what the heck, i got a good truck with a good body and interior.i know this pales in comparison to some of the big inch motors here but , this was a dream of mine when i was a school boy. i used to just envy the guys that had fast trucks in school. i put a 302 with a fairly radical cam, dome top pistons, big valves and springs.its been ported and polished,i put a TCI C4 streetfighter tranny, and a ford 9inch with 430 gears. i left the stock suspension the way it was. seems to stick fairly good , which i havent really pushed it yet seeing that the motor is only 2 weeks old.sorry for ramblin, hope you guys like it. i am open for any tips and advice.tia
