Sounds like a sweet ride :)

A lot of folks use PhotoBucket to host pictures, and then just embed the link here. Works pretty well.

Hey all. I'm neal. I've crewed on a lot of cars over the years, including
Jack Ostrander's toys, but after a few years off, ii decided it was time to build my own.

This is a very rough 66 Chevy II. It will be getting the frontclip treatment,
coilovers on the rear. New tin and a body job. Powerplant plan is a 500 horse 350on pumpgas
through a glide with a 3800 converter.

Lots ahead so i best get bqck out there. good to meet everyone.
Pics will have to come later. They won't post from my phone.

Great forum, John you are a great help on here. My name's Mike Colemire, I run a Spitzer 4 link dragster with a 582 BBC, injected on alky. It's been 4.50's in the 1/8. Next season I plan on building a 540, 8-71, with injection. I want to run some quick 8's and a pro outlaw series we have now. If my eng sells after the season is over, I'll start pecking away to make it happen. Always wanted to have a blown big block, and since I'm not getting any younger I'd better do it, no matter how long it takes. Looks like there is alot of good people on here, glad to be a part of this. I'm not good at posting pic's, but if you've seen one pipe rack, well you get the picture. One of these days I'd like to have a nice dr car.

Hey guy !! Weclome to the group :)

Mines a small BBC blower build with a couple of 750 holleys. I'm been thinking about injection but haven't done anything with it yet. Are you looking at running EFI or mechanical on your new build ?

Mech injection, I've run a Ron's Toilet forever, and this season I switched to a 2100 cfm terminator. After inj I'd never go back to a carb. I'm thinking, bird catcher on the next one, how's your combo run?

2100 cfm, wow !

Don't think I'd be able to run mechanical injection on the street - I don't think I'm smart enough to keep it tweaked.

My combo seems to do really well but it's pretty simple - out of the box Dart 310s, fairly lumpy mechanical roller, Weiand 671 at about 13% overdrive - 2 x 750 4150 HP boost referenced carbs... drives like grandma's sedan on the street pretty much - well behaved but pretty responsive overall. Have had to make some compromises between street and track use but I'm pretty happy with it.

The biggest problem I have is wanting to go faster. It's a disease. :smt003
