What's Going On!!
My name is rob. Been Drag racing for about 20 years or so. Been married going on 20 years now. Lucky to have a wonderful and understanding wife and 1 daughter. I say understanding because as you guys that have been racing and married for a while knows it takes a special woman to put up with crap we car crazy guys put them through. I've seen many marriges end over the car and racing. That's why I say lucky....I have raced ford stuff for years and stepped away for a break and to raise a family. Got back in the racing game about 5 years age wit my daughter in a jr. dragster.....Probably the most fun I've had racing ever. It's great to share something I love with my kid. We have a great time and are making some great memories. Recently I bought a 93 dodge Daytona square tube chassis car with a 440 and 727 trans. I plan on having some fun until my kid is of age to drive. It's still in the building stage as all I need is a alcohol carb as I changed it from gas to alky. She made dad proud when I herd her telling her friends that she can't wait to hear it run. THAT'S MY GIRL!!! LOL
Anyhow I'm sure there will be mopar questions as this is my first dodge product.

What's a mopar?
I thought all this site had was Nova's, Chevelle's, and a lonely Corvette trying to chase down all the Camaro's????
Welcome to the site Rob. This is a fun place to hang out with a bunch of good guys and some that even sound like they know what they're talking about.

Re: You and your ride... Post it here get to know everyone..
Thanks for the welcome everyone, I am looking forward to learning alot on this site. I have a lot to learn about this chevy, not super familiar with chevy big blocks so it will be a learning experience. Its ALOT different than all those mopars I have mest with over the years. My father in law says he'd give me a hand and knows quite a bit about chevy small blocks so hopefully we can gain enough knowledge to make it work.

69434, that's quick for a N/A SBC with conventional heads. Very impressive.
