Evening all, slinky here..

I'm a newbie to this forum, so I'll tell you a little bit about our outfit and what we do...

We run a pair of cars, 1 dragster and 1 grass track oval car.. (both can be seen below)

Image

We're running the dragster in PRO-ET in the uk, and this is our first season with the car..

It's running the following :

406ci Small Block Chevy
Trick Flow Twisted Wedge aluminium heads
Edelbrock Torker 2 Inlet Manifold
Choice of 650 or 750 Holley Carb
Mild Cam
SFI Crank Damper
Comp Cams Pro Magnum Roller Rockers
Comp Cams Racing Pushrods
Holley Blue Top Fuel Pump
Braided Steel Hoses Throughout

MSD 6-AL Ignition Control
MSD Two Step Rev Limiter
Mallory Dual Point Distributer
Accell 44000 Volt Super Coil
Taylor Pro Plug Leads
Champion Plugs

2 Speed Powerglide with TCI Manual Transbrake Valve Body
B&M Pro Bandit Shifter
B&M Torque Converter
SFI Flex Plate
SFI Safety Shields

Ford 8 inch (Narrowed)
Solid Spool
4.11 Pro Gears
Centreline Convo Pro wheels (12x15) with 12.5x30x15 Goodyear Eagle Tyres (and Mickey T's up front)

It's still in a very mild tune as we're bracket racing, but we've seen a 10.504 out of it so far...

Here's a shot of the car doing what it's designed to do at santa pod..

Anyway, hope you like the car.. feel free to pop over to http://587racing.com to keep up to date with our exploits, and say hello on the forum if you fancy it...

Cheers,

Ok about my turn to introduce myself. No up to date pictures, I thought a hydraulic throw out bearing is more important than a camera.
My name's Roger, my friends call me Rog.

I have a 63SS that's been parked since 85. Everytime I get ready to paint it something better comes along for the drivetrain. Presently I'm running a 406, M-21 4 speed, and an 8.5 narrowed to match the stock width. Running 3.42's My short term plans are putting it back together with the new throw out bearing, installing custom made frame rails and finishing off the exhaust. Maybe I can paint it then.

I also have a 90 c-1500 454SS 16,000 built from 90 to 94

Hello, my name is Wayne Kelley I live in Vernon Alabama, I am married with two kids both girls I am 37 and I run a 1972 Nova with a 468, power glide. The car was built to run 7.0 heads up (index) 1/8 mile, it currently runs in the 6.70's on motor. I am looking to put NOS on it and go real heads up racing car has not been mini tubb it runs a 10.5 M/T, 4.56, 12 bolt with slide-a-link bars works real good. Still like to drive it on street Not much heads up racing in my area the few tracks that do run heads up it is wild cat racing you know "run what you brung and hope you brung enough" you could end up racing anything from a wannabe promod to rice burning turbo charged 4 bangers would like to travel up north next season and race in a few of those class races were things are a little more even , check out some cars and make some new friends. If I can help you let me know!
