Well, here is the 73 vette we are setting up, 496 cu in, fully ported canfield 310 heads, with a full hand port that have a cross section of 1.75x2.45=4.2 total cross section, max flow is 350 @.700 on a 4.31 bore plate, and 225@.700 on the exh. with no pipe. 2.30 & 1.88 valves, with titanium retainers, comp 1.7 ratio magnum rockers. Right now it has a weiand Team G, and an 1150 (7320) diominator, but we are talking a tunnel ram with two 1050's. Srp 18 cc. dome pistons, put .005 down in the hole, and the heads have 113 cnc. chambers so static cr is gonna be around 10.5-10.75 after the head gasket. Cam is a custom comp 4-7 swap .744 .714 lift 278-288@.050 on a 113 LSA, and 110 ICL.
The car gonna be 4-linked and coil overs, and probably 4.56 gears with a 28x10.5 slick. The trans is a th 400 with a 9 in. tci converter with 5200 stall. We are hoping to take the car's weight from 3500 lb all iron sbc with driver to 3300 raceweight with aluminun top end bbc. questions, comments, opinions, and predictions are all welcome.
