#1 Post by Moparich » Sun Apr 26, 2009 10:51 am

for you guys with manual trannies

do you burn out in 1 or 2 gear

with my 383 first gear seemed right although i felt i could light em up in 2nd. now with a 500ci i definetly feel lihe i could heat em up in second. although i dont want to stall in the box end slow down the rythem at the track

just curious

I do mine in second. more tire speed helps heat better, without lot of rpm
and time in box.
talk is cheap;lets race

Part of me wants you to have won that race because your a member of this site (with a bitchin ride to boot) but the other part of me wants that vette to pound you (sorry I drive one) As far as the burnout I cant help, I just had to chime in on the video. 500 in. mill should be bad ass!! :nutkick:

Were you at Sac Raceway this weeked ? I went down to hang out for a bit, it was Funny Car Fever, big turnout, stands filled on both sides of the track, overall, a pretty good event this year.
