Ed aka 1320 racer - Ban or no ban?

#1 Post by John_Heard » Thu Jul 16, 2009 5:13 pm

I'm gonna leave this one up to you guys.

Ed can be fun to watch, you know like when you see a car wreck and have to see what happened. But he can also be very annoying with his "I'm better than anyone alive" attitude.

Since I value all your opinions on something like this, we're putting it to a vote...

He could be alot of help round here but to be honest I would have banned him already. He has been banned everywhere he goes. Its a shame cause he is a pretty smart racer he just don't know how to talk to people. Ed I for one would like to see you change your ways and be able to hang around but I just don't think it's gonna happen.
See ya Ed.

What part of the TRUTH, the FACTS and my PROVEN advice don't you like John!

Seemed you like it when you contacted me about 4 years ago asking my opinion about the 24 degree Profilers! ;)

Not the makings of a good leader/manager/supervisor when you make decisions by committee/public opinion but perfect for a politian and a internet webmaster! :smt038

I hope you make a lot of $ off this board cause you'd never make it in big business! :-P

I've been banned from far better boards whose members have far more knowledge and racing experience! wgaf:

Meanwhile, I have offered to tune johnh's car for free with a $100 guarantee attached and rather than acknowledge my goodwill effort you offer me up to be banned!

Unfuckingbelievable!

I just got done BBQ'ing hamburgers and had a nice meal with my girlfriend. While I was eating I came up with an idea - you see Ed's been banned from everywhere but the Yellowbullet I think - maybe not, there maybe some that he's still allowed on. Anyway, I got to thinking Ed's never had his "own" place that he can call home. A place where he can offer advice, insults, putdowns, etc. So I got to thinking, what if I setup a "special" section, let's call it "Ed's Room" where he is free to roam. It'll be a section of the site just for him and his antics - those that want to read his insults, advice whatever, are free to do so, but if you don't want to see or hear it, don't go in there.

Ed - are you game? I'll even consider letting you name the room within reason.

There is one restriction though, if you accept you'll have to take care of that "room" and answer the questions there or I'll close it down. I will also restrict your access so that you may only comment in that "room", but you'll be able to read the rest of the site.

Nobody has tried this before that I'm aware of, so what the heck might be interesting...

Up to you Ed...

I might even have some questions for the guru.

Oh man I just noticed the times that Ed posted on his signature. Ok I'm gonna brag a little. Me 73 Nova in 29"/9"/15" tires and 10.5 psi in them (It also 29.5"/10.5"/15" at 10.0 psi on it at one time) with no back half, stock suspension (bolt on stuff only), one nitrous system (plate at that), big block with glide and 10.5 psi in the tires, wheels screws, did I say 10.5 psi in the tires. 10.5 psi is why I had the tires screwed.

Here's the bragging part my street car went faster than what he's post on his signature. Mine went 5.62 @ 122 mph 1/8 mi. that tops his and was done WITH A STREET CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :nutkick:

But I say let him stay, He's not hurtin my feelings

I think he is the most conceited smarta$$ I have been around.

I like it when footbrake racers tell headsup guys how to make thier cars faster. If he is so good why dont he run in a class where you cant lose because you went to fast.

I really like when he said a single four is faster then two fours on a tunnel ram . I am sure the Pro Stock guys need this knowledge .

I vote no its funny to see what he is going to come up with next.

Well you can't say I didn't try to find a solution, which is more that most forum owners have done in your case.

Bottom line is I will not tolerate you insulting everyone on here on a ongoing basis.

The ORIGINAL 60'racer (aka Footbraker, F00tbraker, bracket racer, wannabee headsup racer, Jacque Itch) posts on YB? Wow, I never would have known.....
Not sure he's there anymore. He's had to change his screen name numerous times.

Edwurd gets some sort of pleasure getting under other's skin not proving anything on a stage of truly fast cars yet acting like his is the only advice and opinion that matters,....all the while hiding behind his keyboard to do it.

I asked you before to do so when he first posted over here and haven't changed my mind so, here's my vote..........Ban this pompus oxygen-wasting pretender.

I've done made up my mind, Edwardo is now officially banned for being an asshole.

For those that he insulted, my apologies, I let him go for a while hoping he would act differently on this site but that just didn't happen despite my asking him to play nicely repeatedly. Ed makes #2 to be banned here since we started the forum, not too bad figuring we've got almost 2000 members here.

This is unfortunate, really. The fellow obviously has a lot on the ball but can't seem to get past the need to be on top of everything and everyone.

Ed, I hope things improve for you. cya...
