15lbs. Vega's
I was going to buy two 15lbs Vegas monday for $500 for both 1973 & 1974 with V-8s in them, got a call from work and had to go out of state for 4 days, got back and they were gone.
Happened more then once.
MasterCraft seats here, can sit in them for a week.
Time to look for a new job.

Gotta plan, spend it before she can, and go as fast as you can.

Man, that sucks. Before I picked up the Camaro, I bought a 71 GT with a pretty rumpy 350, TH350 and 10-bolt (non-narrowed) in it. It had a 6-point cage but no further frame or cage work. I thought about back-halfing it and taking it the distance to go fast but decided I wanted something different - I sold it and eventually came up with this Camaro. I've always liked V8 Vega's tho. The idea of loads of HP in a small vehicle has always been cool...

You must have a nice wife; her lying to you about how wide you backsides are and all................
But(t) seriously, anyone have any slick ideas on how to mount the Kirkley seats on a flat floor with a 2"x3" tube running fore and aft underneth it?

Me too... And I have a 70 sitting in the back yard that belongs to my daughter.Hitchcock wrote: I agree, I have always wanted to do a big block opel gt.
Interesting rear suspension on those, 3 link with torque tube, it could be made to work in stock suspension, NO rear frame rails, so rules about maintaining some of the rear frame rail would be quite easy to comply with
I think they would make a really cool Stock Suspension 10.5 car...

Re: Racing buckets
I have Kirkeys in my car and I have one on my race simulator. I spend 2-3hrs at a time in that thing racing online and it never bothers me.

Come on, hot rod Opels are about as cool as it comes. Tiny car, any V-8 is huge for them. Guess what I'd do to one. Yup, big block and a tunnel ram.

Re: Racing buckets
As much as I would like to discuss my favorite burger...B-Bops by the way, Hitchcock - could you take some books (might have to take a trip to the library) and simulate the seat? IE put a couple of big ones on each side of your a$$...that way you can make a makeshift seat and measure it.
