Mobile Phone Users - What do you use?

#1 Post by John_Heard » Thu Mar 11, 2010 9:51 am

I've been looking at the stats for DragStuff, and it looks like we're getting some significant numbers of people accessing the site using a mobile phone. I'm just curious which OS/Phone you're using and if the site is working ok for you on the phone?

Yeah, I have to get a smartphone for work projects here soon. I'm on Verizon so it'll be a crackberry or a Droid I suppose.

I am with a Crackberry as well, but it blows, IMO. I am on a few boards with chat, and it will not load, I have teched, and downloaded several apps, to no avail. I am going to try the 'droid to see if it works, if so, I am pitching the Curve... :nutkick:

Upgraded to the iPhone over the weekend. I had a blackjack2 before and it worked on some sites, But not all the message boards. iPhone seems to be working fine and dandy though

I'm using a Mytouch from T-mobile. It does anything I want it to with ease. I can even download porn videos whilst I'm working. :thumb:

You just cant beat the iPhone. It has the fastest web searching and does alot of crap. But AT&T signal service blows big time!!! They need to change there slogan from "Fewest dropped calls" to "The most damn dropped calls in the history of cell phone service"...

I cant wait til Apple's contract is up with AT&T and they can sell there phones with other carriers..

I have the Blackberry Tour and I like it alot. Dont get the Blackberry Curve.. that thing is junk

No other phone including crackberry and HTC/droid surf the web near as fast as the iPhone.. But I guess its better than nothing..

Me too - I have an iPhone for my personal cell and carry a Blackberry Bold for work. Far prefer the iPhone.

The Droid, with the Android OS is a IT guy's wet dream...I can use it to connect via VPN to my network at home while at work, or work while at home. It's got so many apps that are more "geek" oriented, and has a wonderful screen. I'm using a Storm right now, but I keep snatching my bud's phone and using it more than he does so I'm getting very used to it. As soon as my contract is up I can switch from the Storm to the Droid.

The site gives me some fits using the original BB browser, but works great on Opera Mini!

I really think that the Droid would treat you well John.
