Re: nova parts
Ouch...
I keep seeing all this stuff for sale that I've sent to the scrap yard over the years. Like hood hinges for $50 each

If your going for good fit and "show car " type looks do your best not to buy the repro stuff. Being in the restoration business we see it for all cars and trucks fit is so bad on most parts including dash pads, interior plastic, exterior trim, body parts you name it it will work if you dont really care about wide gaps, or not so good door/ fender gaps etc, etc. You may pay more but there are guys out there that restore old trim, interior pieces ect or you can try it yourself. N.O.S stuff get really out of hand price wise because its so old but if you got to have it be prepared to shell out some good $$$$.

Re: nova parts
By any chance you got any pictures that show how the aftermarket eyebrow trim looks on the car? Just curious how bad it is?Ten5Valiant wrote:Don't buy aftermarket eyebrow trim. You'll have a gap between the trim and the fender. For $6,000 I'll sell you everything you need AND the Nova, lol.

Re: nova parts
Sorry I don't. I've just seen it on another car. If I remember right, it's the vertical part that doesn't touch the fender like it's supposed to. It has too much of an arc to it and bows away from the fender. From 10' you won't notice it. But it's one of those things that can bug you cause you know it's not right.supernova wrote:I would like to see also.John_Heard wrote:By any chance you got any pictures that show how the aftermarket eyebrow trim looks on the car? Re: nova parts
Just watched a NOS eyebrow trim go for $197 for ONE side... Screw that, I'll put the repro's on it.

Re: nova parts
That's good news. I tore my left one up in the wreck and need to replace it and get a right one that will match.

Re: nova parts
I have repo eyebrows on my Nova they fit pretty good, had to long gate my holes on the fenders to get a better fit and also the mounting studs on the eyebrows slide a bit which helps too.
