Wether I need it or not I have it. For what my car is gonna run, and the amount of power I'm making, no I dont need it. I could have gotten a stock housing worked and it would have been fine. But I had my heart set on a fabbed housing a long time ago. I got a good price, and a side job paid for the parts, so I'm not really out anything.

Tell us what you're stuffing it with: Brand, spline count, ration, etc. Inquiring minds want to know, you know.

I have a 35 spline steel spool. I looked at getting an aluminum spool, but for street driving decided not to go that route. I need to get axles, they will be moser gundrilled with the lightened flange, and probably aerospace brakes. Oh yeah, I have a set of US Gear (strange) 4.86 competition gears. That should match the 32 tall tires ok. I was debating to go 4.86, or 5.00 and stayed onthe conservative side.

that looks cool, mabe painting the cage to match would look good, I like that color. jacobgiles, I made the back brace out of 1/8 th in flat stock, I cut it with a plasma then welded it up and ground down the radius outside edge. I usually make them out of 2x3 but this one was wider so I went that way.
