Aeromotive A2000 Mounting
Anyone know if the Aeromotive A2000 pumps can be mounted on their side? I can't remember if they have bearings on both ends of the motor or not?
I remember some of these electric pumps don't like sideways mounting, hard on seals/bearings, etc. but can't remember if it was Aeromotive is one of them or not?

Re: Aeromotive A2000 Mounting
I got this info off of their site for mounting the A2000:
1-8. Making sure to mount the pump in the upright position and using the pump mounting bracket as a template, mark and
drill two mounting holes to accept ¼” bolts (not provided). Mount the pump bracket using two ¼” bolts, nuts and lock
washers (Not provided).
Here's a link to the instructions: http://aeromotiveinc.com/wp-content/upl ... /17202.pdf
Hope this helps.

Thanks Bruce, was looking around on their site last night trying to find that and came up dry. Looks like I need to mount it vertically. Crud

LOL Nah... I vaguely remembered you're not supposed to mount them sideways, was just wishful thinking, it would have been easier to mount that way.

One thing for sure is You have a pump that will give you years of great service. I've had mine 6 years & has never been apart.

How is the reassemble coming? Does talk of mounting a fuel pump say it is going quick or is this on something else ?

Mike - yes, they are good pumps, I've had this one for a long time as well. BTW: Congrat's on your Mean Street win last weekend!
Jason - It's the pump for the Nova. I wouldn't say it's going quick, but we're making some progress here and there. Just trying to figure out where to put stuff.
