Any difference?
I have been having inconsistant 60' all year long. For the last race of the year this weekend, I put some 29.5x10.5ws on the car instead of the normal 28x10.5w's What do you think the difference will be? Previous bests are 60' 1.31 and 9.81 @ 138 in the 1/4 or is the taller tire going to slow it down?

Were your 60's off from a traction problem? Or was the car just acting up? I dont know anything about your combo so dont want to jump the gun. If your having a traction issue the taller tire may help. It will have a slightly bigger contact patch. And you may not hit it as hard off launch due to a bigger circumfrance.

The bigger tires will help a traction problem and should make it more consistant. That alone should help your 60'. And if your 60' is better than your whole run will be better. You should also more consistant runs.

The taller tire offers more wade/wrinkle and has a greater foot print. Most cars pick-up. Some pick-up too much.
One customer though it would tame down the be less violent (due the extra height).
We told him, no it will have more traction.
It went from a small wheel stand to a very violent, bumper dragging, header crushing, control arm breaking wheel stand.
But what do we know........................... Only been doing this for a couple a decades. lol
