Guys, I have been reading the forum for a while now. I finally got everything together and got the car to the track. Best ET, with no tuning was an 11.87 @ 113, best light of the day, .0001 (there was lots of luck there). I have a whole new list of tasks to do to lower the car some, and thinking about taking the car to the dyno, I think there is a lot left in the tune up. Here is a short clip my neighbor took of the car.

Thanks For all your Help
I can't wait for race season, this has got to be the year.
Re: Thanks For all your Help
Must have been nice to get to the track after all that time.
Re: Thanks For all your Help
It felt really good. I have a few plans that are simple, first is to lower the car. Then, start on the Carb, but there is a local dyno, I am thinking about going there. I should have put in a 4.56 gear vs the 4.10. I also would like to get a bit higher stall converter. If I can tune the car to an 11.50 on just the motor, I think I will be good. I think I made a few mistakes, got way too nervous, and forgot some tools that I should have taken. But the people at the track are great.

Dont change more than one thing at a time.If you tune the car and get it to go faster you might not need the 4.56's.Engine tuning, shift points, launching different can help the car go faster without changing parts, remember you only went to the track 1 time with the combo dont stray too far from it without testing. The track IS the dyno.
