9 inch tire Nova Dragging the BUMPER!

#1 Post by johnh » Sun Oct 17, 2010 9:18 pm

I dont post on here much..but today I'm gonna share my weekends excitment..

We entered a (9inch tire) Nine Inch Nightmare Run What Cha Brung Comp. this Saturday at 75-80 Dragway... I didnt stand a chance against any of these cars (OUTLAW drag radial guys)
... but I new i could hook this 9 inch tire...I run this Nine Inch Class every Friday night on a 6.50 index... Today was NO INDEX... and I was the ONLY regular who showed up..
I lost first round... But i put on one hell of a show for them...

Follow me now......

New Slicks $400, Nitrous $100. Fuel $50. Entry fee $100.
2 headers that need welded, a trans case that needs replaced. A reaer bumper thats needs some love....And a pair of soiled UNDERROOS....

To pull of crap like this on a 9 inch tire... PRICE LESS

The only thing those big wheelies are good for is to get some pictures! Sorry to see the carnage, but at least you got some shots of it...

At least its the end of the year. But, it was awesome looking.
Are wheelie bars in the future...

No wheelie bars allowed in my class... WE HAVE TWO MORE POINTS RACES on the schedule... our local trac closes Oct.30th

We wont be doing those wheelies again any time soon..
We just had some fun / turned it up for the day and it cost me.....
