1 Last episode of pass time anyone???

I'd like to detail my combination, hopefully some more seasoned racers could give me their estimate of ET, the car should run in 1/4 mile CAR; 3400 lb 1980 Chevy Malibu full TRZ rear suspension
Motor;406 11.25:1 CR 256/.624 lift Comp custom solid roller brodix track 1 heads edelbrock super victor single plane intake barry grant 850 demon carborator 1 3/4-1 7/8 stepped headers through 3 inch exhaust ATI TH 400 with internal transbrake 8 inch 4500 converter 8.5 grand national 10 bolt 33 spline axles strange spools 4.10 gears 295/50/15 mickey thompson ET street drag radials, what should this combination run? i posed this question before and i got responses ranging from 10.40 to 11.50, anybody have any experience with similiar combinations?

What a car runs right off the trailer the first time out and what a combo is ultimately capable of are two totally different things.

My old 383 started out in the 11.94@118 and with lots of tuning and small changes to the entire setup, it eventually went 10.40@129. No internal changes to the engine to get there.

I think you'll start out somewhere in the 11s. Just depends on who close the initial setup is to what it really wants.

My nova is 3600lbs and ran 10.80s with my 408, very close combo as yours and I think there was alittle more , it's now my spare. Have fun, Walt
