Congrat's Adam Wright & Craig Watson new PB!!

#1 Post by John_Heard » Mon Oct 31, 2011 8:44 am

Congrat's to DragStuff Members Adam Wright and Craig Watson - both set new Personal Bests over the weekend!!!

Craig went 5.30@133.25 with a 1.26 60' on his new combo!!! It's got a lot left in it and that's in 8.5" Legal Limited Trim, fastest pass ever in that class!!!

Adam Wright ran a 5.52@127 w/1.28 60! also a new PB at the MAKO vs Vamp shootout at MoKan this weekend. Adam was fixing to back it up or maybe better it the next round but stood it up too high and smashed an oil pan. He's now got his initiation into oil pan & header smashing wheelies....

Good job guys!!!

Thanks John. In London legal trim, one car has gone 5.25, but that was last year. I don't think anyone went in the 20s this year in competition.

Congrats to Adam!

Thanks guys. It was a good way to end the year. I was beginning to wonder if I was going to get it to come around before the snow flies. Now I can rest easy this winter knowing I've got a good baseline to work from.

Here's the video from the finals last weekend. I didn't have enough to fight off Darren Hilterbran. The race had pure outlaw rules but I was still in legal trim for London, KY.

I know where London is, I got a place about an hour from there. Didn't know they had a track at London though...

Its a nice track. 1/4 mile for street cars but not long enough for everyone. I like 1/8th mile better anyway.

The track is just west of town off of hwy 80. Tnt on Fridays, race on Saturdays.

Thanks. The 60' was off .02 on that run. It would probably be a little faster if I can keep the front down a little more but still hook it. Its always liked to carry the front a ways on the best runs.
