I liked Van-Haggar better myself. As a guitar play're myself I will always be a Eddie V. Fan. Let's face it the guy can play!!!!!!!!

You are right, the guy can play and in my book, he's one of the great one's, except for when it came to divorcing Valerie

If you care, I got connections to him. My good friend played guitar for several bands and his biggest accomplishment was playing for the band Petra (Christian Rock music). He told me one day about his conversations with Eddie and how he modifies the bridges on his guitars for better sound quality. I sounded pretty interesting. I guess you can modify just about anything to make it perform better.

But honestly, one of my favorite guitar players is Rik Emmett, lead guitar player from Triumph. Now that guy can play!

I guess compared to you, but I'm only 32. I cant believe I'm old enough to say things like "when I was your age" but I am. Ouch. But trust me, my musical preference is not limited to 80's rock bands. Van halen may have been the only good thing to come out of the 80's. Lets face it, even the 80's camaro's sucked...oops there it is
