Damn dude, thats quite an improvement. Is there a big blue bottle in the future for this engine? A 100 shot would prpbably land you in the high 9's! And that would be pretty cool!!

Don't think I haven't already thought that ,lol.. But 9's would mean more rules and money etc... See where i tune this car too first and then maybe do it, lol and run mid to low 9's :D

Thought I would update this, I haven't been on here for a few years, I changed to some better flowing heads, still KRE D ports tho(11.1 comp ) and a solid roller, still pump gas 91 octane only! Best last fall at byron was 10.02@132! 1.37 60 ft, foot braking and leaving at 2500..

So I bought some 275/60 ET SS Drag Radials, cause ill need them to do drag week this year for my first time, first time out with these , i couldn't get them to work, it was hook and spin
So I watched video, and it looked like i was topping front out too fast, then I remembered i put a 1" spacer under drivers side coil when car was leaning, well it ended up being in the back with stock shackles
So I ended up putting the global west shackle kit in the back, but i forgot about that spacer, so fast forward now to these radials, I pulled it out and went back to the track on my slicks, and the car worked awesome!
so then the 24th comes along and its showing cooler weather with some tailwind :) .. I thought may be my last chance for 9's and to get these to work, first two passes was hook n spin, watched video on first run, and tried some different shock settings in back, going tighter on ext but left comp where it was, made it worse, so i came back and went back to 10 off full loose on EXT and from 10 off full tight on comp, i went to full tight and up a lb to 18 psi , 3rd pass, it goes 9.994@133+!!! I've had tailwinds before, but never this kind of mph, usually high 131's only! Still foot braking and leaving at 2500 on two step. My best 60 ft with slicks was at Byron on flypaper track in much better weather of 1.377, It was about 12-1300 on this day and I went 1.370 on a TNT morning Track . Here's the slips for that day
