Helmet Shields

#1 Post by Bruce69Camaro » Tue Feb 28, 2012 9:24 am

The full face helmet I'm getting comes with a clear shield and I know there was some discussion on what color shields other racers use, but I can't find it and it may not have been on this site either?

I talked to a racer from Maple Grove, which will be my home track and he uses amber day and night.

I have heard others using a light smoke and a dark smoke.

I know each to their own, but what do you guys use?
Those who think they know it all have no way of finding out they don't.........

Yeah even at night...I wear glasses all the time and it really helps me cut down on the glare...I guess I have a lot of lights inside the car so I can see pretty well- lol. I used an amber one when I used to bracket race.
