And here is where he got the 4 link and shocks
Re: News Flash,,,
Have you guys seen the video from the GoPro on the left quarter of Kevin Neal's car? You can see it in that picture. It survived the crash and you can even see how it spun down the track after coming off the car. Tough little sucker! They should use it as an advertisement for GoPro.

Re: News Flash,,,
I was watching that the other day, reminds me of the old Timex Watch Commercials. Takes a licking and keeps on ticking... Was quite a wild ride, made me sick to see him tear it up like that.
Pipeline (Chevelle in top photo) was having an off day too, that car is fast it was running in the 5.0X range at Tulsa last year.

Re: News Flash,,,
That crash was reason #1 why not to mount your chute low, if it had not hit the mount, that crash may of never happened. I believe he already has a new car under construction and should be out in the late spring. Both of those shots were something that really suprised me at SGMP this spring, one the number of nitrous backfires and two, the number of wheelstands. Don't think I have seen so many at one event before.
I am not really sure what the question is, but I am pretty sure the answer is Big Block.

Re: News Flash,,,
I understand how hitting the chute mount might have been what tipped it to one side, but that's kinda hard to get around. I mean you can't go putting the mount up high or it won't have the right pull point and might upset the car on the other end? The real answer would be to prevent it from going up that high to begin with. I read some comments from Kevin that he uses a retard button on the steering wheel to get it to drop when it comes up, but it didn't work. I don't know if he meant that it didn't activate the retard like it was supposed to, or if it just didn't drop when the retard came on.

Re: News Flash,,,
My understanding of what Kevin said was the retard button didn't have any effect but maybe the circuit failed and didn't trigger the retard.
