I called Manton Pushrods today to talk with Terry about a new set of pushrods and learned that he died back in early February. I didn't know.

That is so sad - he was so young and such a great guy, always helpful and always enthusiastic about everyone's projects and goals. He spent a fair bit of time speaking with me on the phone during my last engine build - he helped me pick out the right mix for my motor and I was looking forward to talking with him again on this new change.

Evidently he had been sick for awhile with some sort of immune system issue. He had to go in for surgery, developed an infection and then died. I gather it was was pretty sudden.

Anyway, wanted to let you all know about it. Given how long ago this happened, I'm probably the last one to learn about this, but I thought I'd share it. The world lost a great guy :(

I had no idea either. Hate to hear that. He really did me right last year when I was having some pushrod issues that were no fault of his.
