From what I saw last spring, you should should be able to really throw it to it on radials.

I was trying to walk a fine line on 8.5s. Had to kill power to take the hit but was ramping it too slow and fighting tire shake. It wiped out first gear just as I was starting to get a handle on it.

Got em' mounted up, they sure do look funny! I'm not used to seeing that small of a tire on the car. Was fun getting the small tires to seat on those 12" rims, but we got it done eventually.
