Chevy 2500 6.0 truck

Hey guys, I am looking at getting an 04 2500 6.0 truck for a driver and tow rig. It's a high mileage truck, thats had a new trans, fuel pump and oil pump. I have read about their usual issues. But am just curious what your personal experience with them is. I can get this truck for under 5 grand I think. Crew cab 2wd thanks gang

I have a '12 with a 6.0 & it is the best truck I have owned for all around commuting to work & towing my enclosed 20' trailer, but it only has 50K miles. With the gas prices now I love it even more...lol

I ended up buying this truck for 4500.00 bucks. And it's an 03, not an 04. Pretty happy worth it so far, but yes. Gas hog. I'm pretty conservative with the right foot.
