Finally Broke into the 4's
Well fella's we finally got the ol' girl into the 4 second category. We raced at Kansas International Dragway in Wichita, KS last weekend and despite some bad issues in qualifying managed to pull off a win with two 4.99's back to back. I've been trying for quite a while to get over that hump, feels good to get it done.

Re: Finally Broke into the 4's
Frank must be putting out a bit more heat now, discovered it melted all the coating off the shifter cable where it runs beside the transmission. Lovely...

I'd like to know, after you fix your shifter cable issue, what's the next plateau for you and Frank?
And is it Frank or Ol' Blue or does he go by both...LOL

Re: Finally Broke into the 4's
4.80's of course!
"Frank" is the nickname Mike gave the engine in Ol' Blue. I'm not sure if it was because it was big, ugly, or made up of a mix of parts that didn't quite fit together?
