I sure hope so. That's the idea.

We both know the answer to that quote....and the "ONLY" way that car is going to see that much air is when it's going up on the trailer or up on a floor jack!.... :smt005

Those shocks are probably wondering what in the hell did we do to deserve being taken off a Chevelle and put on a Camaro?

The shocks were scared of the speed so they needed a break!

Hey Mike and Ray....my car is ready, are yours??????

It's ok to be jealous.

Even Ray's wife wants a Camaro, so you know where the Chevelle is going to be parked...Ha...Ha....

Love you guys.....

Ready for what? Isn't it winter where you are? Thought you lived in Sanduskyville, not Florida........ OK, that one may have been below the belt. :nutkick:

That is nice work Bruce. I'm working on my own switching and relay setup and will post more content after a bit. I can't believe how much work it has taken to wire this stuff up.

Thanks Harry, I like what you got going on.

Did you figure out how your going to hang the box off of the hoop?

This wiring plan was fun. I used to hate wiring, now I don't mind it at all, once you figure out how to do it.

Guess my 20 years of working on boilers did pay off for something....LOL

Yep, I got the switch box mounted. I used some lightweight clamps from Summit:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/lng-22755

These Longacre clamps (my proshop price is a bit under $16 each) are for 1 3/4" bar and like John I'm running 1 5/8" in my cage. I spent another $3 on a 6 inch long piece of 1 5/8" exhaust tubing which just happens to be 1 3/4" on the outside. I cut a couple of narrow rings from the tubing and cut them on one side so I could fit them around the smaller tube. I had to take about .020 off the mating surface of the clamps to get a good clamp but as you can see it worked out pretty well. This is mockup on a bit of leftover 1 5/8" tubing...

Here's the box mounted on the hoop. As you can see, there's still a bunch of wiring to finish, but I'm making good progress :thumb:

I'll post more photos once I get the box mounted and the relay panel finished.
