Lexan Windows

#1 Post by sc racing » Sat Jun 23, 2007 10:32 am

I need windows for my doors (85 firebird) they are very long and curved from top to bottom Ive seen molded windows and flat windows.Should I buy the molded or the flat ones? If I get the flat ones Im guessing Ill have to make some contoured frame to mount it to.Should I keep the weatherstripping up in the roof rail? $$$ is always a factor 1/8" windows are about $125 a pair, molded scratch resistant windows are about $293 a pair.Ive only installed lexan windshields before the doors are a little more complex any help in greatly appriciated.
Thanks
Steve

Steve,
THe molded Margard or scratch resistant ones are worth the money. You will not regret it.
If you have not already, try Percy's glass, it's virtually unscratchable.
