Water Based Parts Cleaners
Any of you guys used Water Based parts cleaner? I need to refill my parts washer and have been getting sticker shock for 30 gallons of mineral spirits. That Awesome brand cleaner I posted about earlier, I've been thinking. That stuff costs $3 for 64 oz = $180 for 30 gallons to run it straight, 2-1 cost is $90. It works pretty good on cleaning grease 1-1 and aluminum parts, just thinking what drawbacks I might have in my parts washer using that stuff. Is rust a problem in the solvent tank for these water based cleaners?

Mine's a 30 gal square one, it doesn't have the traditional drum. Actually while I've got it all cleaned out again I ought to figure out a way to put a filter on it, right now a pump just sits down in the bottom of it. I happen to have an external pump that would work slick for this from another project. Hmmm..
