plans are n/a bbc 540ci plus. glide ( which i have 1.80 gear)with hipster trans brake. strange 4.56 rear gears c/m cage

A 540 huh. I'm afraid I just can't let you do that. As I'm only running a 496, why don't you building a 327 instead :thumb:

El Camino huh? At least you'll have a lot of room back there? Whose frame rails are those?

its an art morrison deal frame frt struts wilwood frt brakes strange rear 35 spline axles rear brakes and center section. afco double adjustable shocks.
upgraded all lower contro larm and four link bolts with aircraft full shoulder bolts $$$$.
i still remember your article on that in national dragster.
it will be a bbc and glide
rear gears are 456 and tires are rear 32x14x15 frt 27 x4.5x15

Ok I need to know, what's the difference between aircraft shoulder bolts and shoulder bolts that are grade 5 or 8?
Those who think they know it all have no way of finding out they don't......... :scratch:

imo aircraft bolts have a better shoulder ,also closer tolorances.
and they are stronger than a grade eight bolt. also i'd never use a grade 5 bolt for a suspension bolt.
