Ok some of the guys that I race with tell me that I need a TPS. What are you guys using for it on a Dominator??
I see at the track most use a GM TPS.. It don't look hard to wire as it would have a ground, signal wire and 5 volts Right?? Randy or anyone what is this going to tell me other than if I lift??? Thanks
TPS ??

Re: TPS ??
I was looking at sticking one of these on my car just to monitor throttle position, mainly because I was curious how much it was moving from frame flex. I learned it's moving a lot based on issues with a carb mounted nitrous limit swich, so I think I'll fix the flex issue instead lol. You're right they are three wire on the GM units.

Re: TPS ??
Unless you have something unusual going on like John did, you are correct. It will show you if you lift, when you lifted, how much you lifted and for how long.

Re: TPS ??
We use ours in conjunction with the accelarometer to tell not only when Kevin lifts but how hard he is on the brakes

Re: TPS ??
I'm playing with a solid state proximity switch to trigger my nitrous. Works good in the shop but don't have any on-track results yet.
