AEM Data Logger
No disrespect to Randy and if no one minds, I'm going to be posting some details about my experiences with AEM's new data logger. On paper it looks like a nice unit with a good price. So I'm going to pass on what I find when I get it all wired up.

Re: AEM Data Logger
Looks like my data logger is on the way. Should have it in a couple days I suppose. AEM is also sending their new Dyno Shaft unit so that'll be very interesting to use and get to know.

Re: AEM Data Logger
The data logger arrived last week while I was in Germany for work so looks like I get to play with it in the evenings this week! Looking forward to using it to diagnose my top end surge issue.

Re: AEM Data Logger
The Dyno Shaft is mounted on the tailshaft and I've started on installing the sensors for various pressures and temps. The Dyno Shaft is very light weight. Seems to fit the tailshaft well. I was concerned it wouldn't clear the floor pan but it did. Should be interesting figureing out the best way to make use of the torque data.

You'll have to snap some pic's for us. I'm still trying to get my head around how that deal works exactly.

There's not much to see really. Here's the entire thing:

Its completely non-contact, no batteries, etc. Wires into the can-bus input on the AQ-1 logger. So it doesn't take up a channel.
