Non-projected? looks longer?
I got a set of ngk non projected plugs today but it liiks like it will sit in the head further and looks like the white part sticks out of the shell further. I went from an ngk fr-5 to a fr-5s. The s plug is advertised as a non projected. Does this make sense to you?
My car is not as fast as I think it is.

My chart shows the FR5 is a projected tip plug, 14mm .750 thread - I haven't found the FR5S listed anywhere...

FR5-1 is also listed as a projected tip plug, 14mm .750 reach, .625 hex. If you want a non-projected tip I'd just use the standard racing plugs the R5671A-7 through R5671A-10 plugs (7 is the hot heat range for N/A engines - 10 is cold). R5671A-X series plugs are the same thread, 14 mm, .750 reach, .625 hex.
