New Personal Best
I finally topped my previous best tonight with a 5.64@125.4. Not much faster on paper, but this track is known to be about a tenth and 1 mph slow. The 60' was fairly soft (1.33) since I wasn't aggressive with the progressive controller at all, so there's a lot of potential left in this configuration.
Hopefully I can go even faster tomorrow when I should be able to get aggressive with the launch.

Re: New Personal Best
Ran a 5.59 right off the trailer with the same tune-up as last night and just a little more aggressive ramping of the nitrous.
Then on the next run, I turned up the wick again and ran a 5.49 with a 1.28 60'. It packed the front tires WAY out and about 3 ft. in the air. It was going straight so it was hammer down.
Backed that up with a 5.52 in the finals but had some top end tire spin that probably kept that from being another .49 or a .50. Got beat on the tree and the MOV was .006 sec and I was on the losing side. At least it was an all-Nova final

Re: New Personal Best
Yeah, I was just hoping to run in the 50s. I didn't expect to go a .49 and have such good luck with the bigger jets on the first try.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Unfortunately, there is no video. Another day alone at the track. You'd think I could find some friends! LOLCarolina Kid wrote:Congrats...

Re: New Personal Best
Congrats on the new best. With a loss of only .006, I bet that was an intense run! Your right foot will be sore for a week from standing on it so hard!

Re: New Personal Best
I never saw him the whole run, but it was definitely intense. I about took out the 330 cone and it was spinning like crazy on the top end. The shift light turned out way early and never went off. The data looks like a saw blade.Hitchcock wrote:Congrats on the new best. With a loss of only .006, I bet that was an intense run! Your right foot will be sore for a week from standing on it so hard!
He got me a little on the tree, I had a tenth in the 60' but he runs about 3-4 mph more on the top end (F2 procharger) and got back around me. 5.52 to a 5.54.
