Out with the old...

Re: Out with the old...
I was gonna plumb my shop, but after buying those few pieces forget it. I'll just longer hoses if I need. The two tee's were about 7 each, elbows were alittle more than 6, and the two quick fittings were about 6 each. So by the time I was done it was about 50 bucks just to hook up three hoses at the same time. I dont even have that many air tools. but now I have an excuse to go buy more.

Re: Out with the old...
What is the max working pressure PVC or CPVC can handle and also will the glue hold?
I also thought about using that stuff.

Those who think they know it all have no way of finding out they don't.........

While they may not recommend it, I have used regular old schedule 40 for years with no issues...Bruce69Camaro wrote:What is the max working pressure PVC or CPVC can handle and also will the glue hold?

Re: Out with the old...
where is your pressure regulator?
When i first set up my new compressor i ran it straight out of the tank like that with no water seperater or regulator and for some odd reason i was getting a lot of moisture out of my air tools and worse yet i had one of the little 90deg angle air grinders from harbor freights come apart right in my hand at full rpm!
let me say @14,000 rpm those ball bearing come out the end like buck shot!

My dad and I ran PVC in our shop and has been fine since we did it like 7 or 8 years ago.
