Trying a new fiberglass company...
I pulled the trigger on a trunk lid for the Nova this morning, going to try out http://advantagefiberglass.net/ - they have some awesome prices, guess I'll found out what kind of quality/service/delivery they have as well.
He didn't have one in stock, but said should have one in a week and two weeks for truck freight est.
Anyone else ever used these guys?

Wow...I'd say his prices are good. $70 for a front fiberglass bumper for my Camaro, that's dirt cheap.
Keep us posted on what this stuff is like.
I've been looking into a company called Feather Carbon http://feathercarbon.com
This guy sells a 6" cowl hood for my car for $250.00 made out of fiberglass but also does a lot of work in carbon fiber.
I've gotten some good feedback about his work and the guy that I talked too was even building a Nova with a 6" or 10" cowl hood.

Bruce,
I tried calling them last week for 6 hours straight and there phone was busy the entire time. I sent them an email about shipping to see which way was cheaper. Driving down or having it shipped. They finally emailed me back yesterday asking where I was located at. In the email it was clearly stated. Good luck with them!

Re: Trying a new fiberglass company...
Hmmm... When I called him he answered right away, and I got a good impression. He's a small shop, no extra people to answer the phone, etc. so I'm not surprised if he didn't answer right away - that's the price you pay when dealing with a smaller company. Nothing like Unlimited Fiberglass which is the scariest to deal with IMHO.
Hopefully the quality will be ok and it'll arrive without damage. We'll know sometime around the end of the month which is when he expected it to arrive truck freight.

Blade,
The owner of the company I believe is a member on Team Camaro. He told me it would cost around $120.00
for shipping or if he comes up to Maple Grove, he would bring it along.
He can be hard to get in touch with. It's a one man buisness, but I heard he has good stuff.

Re: Trying a new fiberglass company...
I imported Front scoop, rear tailboard, bootlid for my 69 Camaro from unlimited products and they were all a great fit. They were bolt on parts I ordered and there were no probs lining up.
I bought two doors for the 69 from Harwoods. Now thats another story. We had to practicaly rebuild them to get them to fit. One door had the inner panel stuck on so far out of line we cut 95% of it off to unbuckle the door and line it up. Jeez.

Apparently you got lucky on the unlimited products, they don't have a very good reputation. In fact there are 34 pending complaints against them with the better business bureau.Chevyfireball wrote:I imported Front scoop, rear tailboard, bootlid for my 69 Camaro from unlimited products and they were all a great fit. I'm surprised about Harwood... I've bought a hood and several bumpers from them and have been happy so far.
