Thanks. I have my moments of down time but try to work on it a few nights a week and on the weekend. I did take the month of Febuary off to plow snow here in eastern Pa and sleep to recover from plowing snow.
Any other Ford guys on here , I feel lonely . Jim

Good to see a nostalgia car coming to life, but what is this, an A/FX car without a straight axle? I just had to do that.

I know what you are saying but I do have a 64 Comet wagon that I am working on that has a straight axle from a 46 Chevy pickup .I will probably only drive that on the street unless I sell it to fund the Mustang project. Jim.

OH dang, I like your comet, that would be a sweet street car, but if your racecar is like mine it'll eat all your time, money, patiants and just keep wanting more.

I know what you are saying. I started on that wagon about 3 years ago and was moving along with it pritty good and then helped a friend build a 65 Comet N/SS car a tribute to Dyno Don's car and then got hooked on the drag racing thing and started on the Mustang. I also have a 64 Comet pro street car that I have had for 20 years since I was 18 and just took the wheels off of it to use for the Mustang until I can afford new wheels. There is just not enough time and money with 2 kids that want your time and trying to run my own small construction business. I will get the Mustang done a little at a time and hope to have it going by the end off the year for some test time .

A cammer motor even, this is getting better and better.
Do you have any figures on what the car is going to weigh finished?
Just one more question, how quick do you want it to be?
