Summers over

#1 Post by Hitchcock » Sun Sep 26, 2010 8:50 pm

All right, is it to early to start talking winter projects. Anyone have any plans on upgrades or projects? I know I have tons to do, and am starting to think about a bit of body work. But am trying to not get my self started on that. Such a can of worms on this car.

I'm hoping to gather up some fiberglass body parts, 5" cowl hood, front bumper and rear spoiler and then start getting ready for a fresh coat of paint.

If anyone is going to need some axles for their new project, let me know, I got a set of Moser's that I need to move.
I have them in the classified section but will sell them for a better price.

But my main goal is to finish the Camaro and sell it so I can buy a Nova......NOT!

I made mine a little lighter over the weekend, the stock disc brakes are pretty damn heavy...

As you can see, 53 lb's 6 oz. To 26 lb's 5 oz Amd thats not including shedding
the stock steering crap in favor of the rack and pinion stuff
there is about another 25 pounds there
WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO

Hey Hitch,

Looks like your already pretty set for the winter.....Vette, TV, Fridge, Stereo.

All you need to add is a toilet, microwave, couch and a Camaro and your set :thumb:

You even added a new heating system, didn't you?

Nope, the drive shaft was 3/4 too long. So I have one made. It was picked up today. Tomorrow heading down to the shop to install and should be good to go.
