Yeah the instructions to the dse's says to notch the frame and back fill with 1/8" sheet steel, is your nova a full tub ?

No, don't think so. I used to run a 28x10.5 on 10" rims with a mini tub (split the stock tubs and welded a strip in). Would still need to notch the frame though.

Can't find where that picture is, but I'm gonna guess they are the 29.5x10.5's on 12's. Here's a pic with those tires... Course it sits down lower with the weight in it.

Would the 28x 10.5 on a 12" rim work with the dse? I was on your web page where I found that pic you couldn't find, and you had a pic of the tires on the bogart rims. Ok I know the tires are 28 tall over all. My factory tire is 195/75/14. 14 being the rim size ok being if I put the 28x10.5 on a 12" rim that would allow more top cleance being factory sized tires stand on the rims @ about 25"+- on a 14" rim so saying the 12" rim would allow the clearance of the 28" is this correct?

If you'll do some research on the Internet you'll find all sorts of data on what will fit.
Here's one I bet you missed on DES's web sit:

http://www.detroitspeed.com/projects/ek ... -pg-1.html

I think the tire on Krueger's car is a 29.5-10.5 on a 10" rim.
I went with the Autoweld mini-tub's because they were cheaper an I didn't care about retaining the stock look although I do have lots of DES stuff on my car.
I ran a 28"-10.5" tire on a 10" rim last year. It work great. Put it on a 10" rim and you save some space in the wheel well, no need for that tire the be on a 12" rim.
Besides how much power are you wanting to make realistically. You'll be surprised on what a 28"-10.5" tire will hold as far as power. My car has been 5.60's at 3500 lbs. on that tire.

I have a 350 4 bolt main from a 1980 pickup was supposed to be 355, but the jerk built it wrong and said the heads won't work being truck heads so I decided to go 350 435 hp or so that's besides the point. I just want the car to look like John heards before he changed it unless you have pic of the 28x10.5 on a 10 rim so I know what I'm looking at

These wheels are 15" X 10", 5 1/2" back space.
If it were me, after putting the tubs in I would check and see what wheel will fit before you narrow the rear end. If your looking for the look of a deep wheel you will have to narrow it. You will have to figure out what it will take to put the tire in the center of the wheel well...........

Yeah I'm looking at a deep rim I figured I have to narrow the rear to get the deep rim say if I were to purchase the rims 15x10 how do I know what bs to go with to start then cut axle to fit rim to center I know how to measure the axle to flange to flange and all that or should I buy tires first be nice to have rims and tires to mock up both sides or do I guess like may be like 8" deep from face of rim just guessing any info on that aspect?

Buy the wheels and tires you want! You should stay around 4"-5 1/2" BS. Take the rear end out of the car. Put the wheels and tires in the new and improved wheel wells where you want them and measure between the axle faces of the wheels. That will give you everything you need to know to narrow the rear end............. You need to let someone who knows how to narrow a rear end do the work.
