Damn those dayglow colors are hurting my eyes. Sad thing is back in the day, you could find cars painted like that, two tone gray is gonna look sweet.

Re: Hey Guy's
I like it, how soon are we gonna see color?
I am not really sure what the question is, but I am pretty sure the answer is Big Block.
Re: Hey Guy's
I hope to have color on it between thanksgiving and Christmas. I really don't have any body work experience so I'm relying on a good friend that has 30 yrs of body working experience to show me and help with the work so it's not going real fast.
But that's ok. The car has looked like it does for yrs.

Re: Hey Guy's
I'm shooting for having the Death Nova out testing on Oct. 19th. With any luck, I can make that happen. Just going to do some motor runs to shake it down on the first night out. I want to be sure it goes straight and drives good before hitting the bottle.
After getting the car into the wall last summer and a major rules change in the local 8.5 racing, I decided it was time to step up to 10.5s. So I mini-tubbed it, went to a 9" Ford, had the cage updated, new quarter panels, new front fenders, rear shocks, fuel cell and a bunch of other little stuff.
I'm going to give 275 Pro radials a try. I went 5.30 on 8.5s on a pretty easy tune so I'm hopeful that I can make it go 5.teens fairly soon. Maybe not this fall but who knows. I'll have a lot of chassis changes to figure out.

Re: Hey Guy's
Hey buddy.....how is the body work coming along?
I bet if you offered to buy us all a big steak dinner you could get a bunch of the DragStuff members to come down and knock out the body work and paint, all in a weekend.
One suggestion, save the beer for after all the work is done

Those who think they know it all have no way of finding out they don't.........
