Hey John, the car looks great ! I checked out your blog pics. Whats the difference between a 25/3 chassis and a 25/5 chassis. I checked out the SFI website and seen ET to weight, but what are the differences in the build process. Thanks

Man that looks rally nice! When is the car gonna be back in your garage. If it does not happen soon, it may end up in mine. It's only about 6 blocks from where I work and the shop has a nice trailer.

Re: Shock Mounts and Door bars done
Thanks - Kurt's really doing a great job and I'm real happy so far. The cage part itself on 25.3 uses larger bars and more gussets, plus the inner rails must be round chrome moly (No MS) where a 25.5 can use MS and square tube in places. 25.3 also has requirements for behind the cage (bars going into trunk) to reinforce the rear frame rails "if" certain things have been done. That's somewhat of the cliff notes version...ant1277 wrote:Hey John, the car looks great ! I checked out your blog pics. Whats the difference between a 25/3 chassis and a 25/5 chassis. It looks awesome John. I think I may look into having him 25.5 my car if it ever goes that fast. Lol
